For Illinois Medicaid members with Meridian, lactation education and support may be available at no cost to you. Services are provided virtually and billed directly to Meridian.

Lumaea Wellness is enrolled as an Illinois Medicaid lactation provider and accepts Meridian Medicaid for eligible lactation education and support services. Please note that Medicaid coverage is specific to Meridian and does not currently apply to birth doula services.

Jessica is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) who provides evidence-informed education, practical problem-solving, and respectful support centered around your personal goals and circumstances.
As a birth doula, prenatal yoga teacher, and health coach, Jessica brings a broader understanding of pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and early parenthood. She fully supports breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, and families finding what realistically works for them without guilt.
